Yes — optional per product. When creating a product, enable 'Serial tracking' if it applies (bikes, appliances, phones, art prints, anything with a unique ID). Every unit gets its own serial added separately. At sale time, pick which serial is being sold and it's linked to the customer. Type any serial anytime → full history: when sold, to whom, warranty status. For products that don't need it (a cup of coffee, a slice of pizza) just leave the toggle off.
